The last picture is of my V nose 24 foot Kiefer trailer that I bought new in 2006. I highly recommend your next stock trailer be a V nose. If you are hooking up to a pickup with the short box or a pickup with the really short box the V nose has all kinds of clearance. I have found it is extremely handy to have the V nose to hook up to the newer half ton pickups with the five and a half foot box to only haul a couple animals. The V nose gives excellent clearance protecting the pickup cab and rear window. I can not tell you how many times I have had an incident where I looked over my shoulder and was happy to own a V nose that stayed away from my pickup cab. Then add the aerodynamic benefits.
