For Sale: 1986 Ford f-150. Mechanic's Special. Has the 351 Windsor motor. Vehicle ran when parked. Had low idle vacuum. Now two years later I changed out the intake gaskets and manifold thinking that was the cause. Looks like one or more intake valves must be bad. When slowly cranking motor by hand you can hear the valve leaking back into the intake. Vehicle has 105,000 original miles. Automatic transmission with 4x4 and lockout hubs. I have two sets of exhaust manifold gaskets that also go with. Carb just had a partial kit installed along with new bowl gaskets, needle and seats along with primary float. I still have the original intake manifold if you want it. New parts include starter relay, starter, starter cables and fuel pump. Vehicle is an AC unit but no longer has charge.
