2005 Ford Taurus

Cheap transportation. Has the 3.0L V6 engine, automatic transmission, front wheel drive, and 212k miles on the odometer. Honestly this is probably one of the last $1000 beater cars I am going to sell. Seems to run and drive fine, I picked this up from a friend's dealership in a trade deal. I know it made a several hundred mile commute for him to get it. Quality and condition is what youd expect from a vehicle at this price point. It's been sitting for a few months while waiting for title work. Fired right up prior to me listing it. Engine runs smooth, does not overheat or seem to misfire, has good power, transmission shifts fine. Check engine light is on, haven't scanned it. Looks to leak some oil. It has a new battery. Brake pedal feels a little softer than usual but it seems to stop fine, brake fluid looks clean and isn't leaking anywhere, and there's no ABS or brake warning lights on. Tires aren't the best, the exterior has some rust and blemishes. Heat, ac, radio, windows, seem to work as they should. Interior is in decent shape. Cloth seating for 6. It is what it is. First $1000 takes it. Price is firm.
