1980 Columbia Commuter Moped

In MN and ND You don't need a special license for a motorized scooter under 50cc, electric bicycle, or moped, but you must have a valid driver's license

Runs and drives great, tires hold air and are, rear tire is good front cold use replacing down the road. Have ran it a couple times 10 miles round trip with no issues.

Does 25 MPH (with no wind). Pedal to start, idles and runs great and is super fun to ride.Mileage will increase due to me riding it once in awhile.

It has a 47cc Sachs 505/1A motor in it.50:1 premix, carb ultrasonic cleaned, new air filter and spark plug. Compression is spot on and parts are readily avail for this motor

Gas tank (frame) is amazingly clean with new fuel shutoff and debris catch.

Some minor rust on rims and chrome but that is to be expected for its age.

Clean title in hand, plates currently registered to 2024.

This is a great survivor and would be awesome to run errands around town or add to a collection..
