Grounds Crew

Working under the Grounds Manager, you will do basic lawn care and grounds tasks; understand standard safety regulations and basic turf management and will operate under the International Peace Garden's maintenance strategy to meet or exceed standards.

Grounds maintenance will include mowing, trimming, weeding, hardscape maintenance, mulching, etc. Trail maintenance will include clearing, tree cutting and trimming, wood chipping, sign posting, etc.

A basic knowledge of the tools, equipment, techniques, materials and methods of grounds management is needed and you will receive on-site training as well. You will need to be able to work with a multiple person crew to complete various tasks and daily routines and a knowledge of basic safety rules and regulations.

You will need to be able to lift 50lbs+ and work in all weather conditions. This position does include working at least 2 weekends a month.
