Black Lab/Husky Mix (serious inquiries only pls)

-This is Lex, after Lex Luther, which he responds to as well. He is 8 years old. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. Hes house and potty trained. He does very well with other dogs so long as they are not aggressive. He does well with cats as hes lived with them for years. Sometimes he tries to play with them but forgets his size but they put him in his place. He does well with kids but is not good at resisting a within reach treat, so if they have food he will gently try to sneak it away. He is very energetic and just loves running. His ideal day would be a big open field with a couple dog friends and an endless supply of beggin strips. his only downfall is he occasionally will roll in poop or dead animal smells. You can take him to a dog park but since people arent too keen at picking up after their dog, he will find it, and he will roll in it. so we prefer open fields and hell chase pheasants but never catch them. hes not very eye/mouth coordinated. he is disinterested when it comes to fetching balls and frisbees. We allowed him on furniture but he will listen to OFF, hell come right down. Hes very reactive to other people and dogs, more so because hes curious and just has him moments where he likes to play big bad guard dog but hes a gentle giant. so youll mostly just hear low rumbles and occasional barking. he doesnt like baths but once you get him behind the bathroom door he surrenders and will obey every command. He has mild separation anxiety (this is where another dog would benefit him) and we never kenneled him because of a couple bad experiences. He is an incredible dog... Ideally id like to see him go to a family with a open field or backyard who also has another dog. I always knew another dog is what he needs to occupy his time and keep him company but we simply cannot afford another dog and i cannot put the time they needs into making sure they are happy unfortunately.
