The Electric Company of South Dakota is looking for energetic, motivated, hard-working individuals to join our Bismarck crew. We install underground utilities including gas, power, and communication lines, along with a magnitude of other projects.

Overtime paid after 40 hours

The individual will be expected to:

Pass a pre-employment drug test as well as random drug tests.

Have a valid driver's license!! CDL preferred but NOT required.

Show up to work each day on time, ready to work.

Adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Complete pre-op checklist before driving or operating equipment and report when things need repair.

Be motivated and take direction from the foreman on site, and complete work in a safe and timely manner.

Be able to pass computer-based learning for qualifications to install natural gas lines.

Keep all vehicles and equipment clean, both inside and out.

Along with various other tasks.

Equipment operating experience is highly desired, but we are willing to train the right candidate. We run skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers, directional drills and occasionally plows. Pay will be dependent on your experience level and performance.

We normally put in between 40 to 55 hours each week, depending on weather conditions. We are paid every week on Friday. Vacation hours are accrued each paycheck. Insurance and 401K offered after 60 days of employment.
