Description: As a Mosquito Control Technician you will reduce nuisance mosquitoes and lessen the threat of disease transmission by:

Treating standing water with mosquito larva pesticide

Fog public areas with mosquito pesticide

Monitor the mosquito population by maintaining mosquito traps and identifying trapped mosquitoes

Maintain pesticide and mosquito records

Typical work hours are from 4:45am - 11:00am Monday - Friday, with weekends and holidays off.

Qualifications

Must have a High School diploma or GED.

Must be at least 18 years of age from date of hire.

Must have a valid drivers license.

Additional information:

Must be able to obtain certifications (Core, Right of Way, and Public Health) to apply pesticide from the ND Department of Agriculture within 15 days of hire. This requires passing an open book exam.
