Motorola Talkabout T5410 Walkie Talkies w/ Charging Station

Walkie talkies are working perfectly with AA batteries.

We do have the rechargeable batteries but they are old and will no longer charge. When in walkie talkies they will power up buy not communicate. Have tested the charging station with a volt meter and it works fine.
