Description: This position is responsible for providing secretarial and accounting support for the operations of the department. Some job duties include:

Tracks and processes employee credit card transactions; updates and monitors accounts payable; codes, calculates and processes invoices.

Processes department accounts receivable; prepares and processes monthly and annual billing.

Processes security background checks for persons requiring airport access; fingerprints personnel.

Calculates CPI increases for tenants.

Schedules and coordinates meetings; makes travel arrangements for department personnel.

Maintains and updates flight schedules.

Maintains office supply inventory; reorders as needed.

Establishes and maintains a variety of files and records.

Drafts, composes and types memoranda, letters and other correspondence.

Prepares a variety of regular and special reports.

Performs related duties.

Qualifications

Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position,

usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for 1-2 years.

Must meet and maintain qualifications pursuant to 49 CFR Part 1542 (Unescorted Access Authority).
