This breaks my heart

Entertaining the idea of offering my draftX 3 yr old gelding MONGO for rehome.

He is a big puppy dog/gentle on the ground so he needs someone not afraid to be firm about boundaries. He stands right between 15.1 and 15.2 hands right now and has a TON of personality! He is lightly started, good with w/t/l and been outside some around cattle. He has a start to a neck rein and I have been able to get gates off of him, he has a good start to it but definitely needs refining to look pretty. He also has a start to stepping up to something for mounting, but needs consistency to continue and refine it as well. He is still young so has looked/spooked at a few things and has coped a tiny protest attitude here and there (a few humps or crow hops but easy pull up). Needs some more work with being comfortable with swinging reins/rope while in the seat (but ok to pull a tarp around ) but he stands tied, loads, and trims well (sometimes gets impatient if has to hold a foot a really long time). He walks out like a dream and SMOOTH! Will be a whole family type with a year of good solid riding.

Only reason Im considering parting with him is Id like to focus on making my stud colt fancy and without a riding job/outside riding like I used to get and a little one, I just do not ride near as much as I used to( I also have plenty of well broke horses that sit well already in my string). He is up for grabs but not giveaway and I will be firm. He doesnt HAVE to go but he should also get a chance to have a better riding foundation laid at this point in his life than Im currently able to offer him. He is out of my FAVORITE blue valentine/driftwood bred mare and a nice 16.1 hand shire/tb stud. He might be in a bit of an ugly duckling stage right now but he will be a swan in 2-3 years Im sure!

Offering only for a short limited time. I prefer potential buyer to come see him/try him in person! 6500 firm. I havent gotten much footage of him this spring as hes still shedding off and will work on some new pics/videos.
