Civil Air Patrol Open House

Interested in aviation or serving your community? Mark your calendar to stop by Civil Air Patrol's Open House, Saturday April 27, anytime 10 am - Noon, 2400 N. Broadway inside Avflight Minot.

We offer no-cost STEM resources for k-12 educator members (including homeschool). Cadets, starting at age 12, have the opportunity for 5-10 free flights, weekly & monthly activities, land search and rescue (SAR), and seasonal encampment. Flight lesson and program scholarships may be available. CAP provides a great foundation toward non-military aviation and military careers!

Members joining age 18 and up can volunteer as air or land SAR crews, fly Cessna 172/182 aircraft, operate small unmanned aircraft systems (drones), or conduct aerial photography. Volunteers may also equipped to instruct cadets and members in aerospace & rocketry, leadership, character, and fitness. Experience welcome or develop your skills with CAP's help.
